The document provides templates for peers to assess group work and for self-assessment of laboratory reports. For peer assessment, peers are asked to provide the name of the group being evaluated, the mark or grade being given, and one strength and one weakness of the work. For self-assessment of laboratory reports, individuals are asked to provide the section of the report being assessed, the mark or grade being given for that section and why, and if not the top mark, how that section could be improved. The self-assessment covers scientific concepts, materials, procedures, calculations, results, conclusions, and appearance/organization of the report.
