This document describes a community science project using small-scale aquaculture (SSA) in Cambodia. The project aims to establish SSA as a sustainable livelihood by having local communities monitor the costs and benefits through participatory research. The project works with a village savings group to provide funding and training to households to construct and stock small WISH ponds. Households then monitor the ponds using a pictorial monitoring sheet collecting data on construction, feeding, health, harvesting, and financials. The goal is to build research capacity within the community and provide a sustainable model for adopting SSA through an action research approach.
