The Model OAS General Assembly (MOAS) is a program run by the Organization of American States (OAS) to promote democratic values among youth in the Americas. Students represent OAS member states and debate regional issues, advocating for their assigned country's policies. The MOAS simulation aims to familiarize participants with the OAS's work and role in addressing issues like democracy, human rights, development, and security. It began in 1980 and has since expanded to include university, high school, and intern models held throughout the year.
