This document provides an overview of marketing with ring-back tones (RBTs), which are tones played to callers while waiting for a call to be answered. RBTs can now be used to play advertising messages (Ad-RBT). The global opportunity for Ad-RBT is large given the billions of mobile phone users and calls made daily. Ad-RBT offers several benefits to marketers, including reaching a captive audience and allowing immediate metrics collection. However, subscriber controls are important to ensure privacy and choice regarding the advertising messages played.

DAX by Global gives advertisers a single buying point across 180 digital audio platforms including Soundcloud, Radionomy and radio brands including Global, the media & entertainment group’s Capital and Radio X and Bauer Media’s Kiss in the UK. Global created DAX because there was no easy way for advertisers to reach the growing number of people listening to audio on digital devices. In the UK every week over 24 million (MIDAS Plus Winter 2017) people stream digital audio and this figure is growing. In November 2017, DAX launched in France and Germany.
At the end of 2017, DAX became the world’s largest digital audio advertising platform by acquiring US-based digital audio ad sales company, AudioHQ and rebranding. TonlaKazan - A New Mobile Advertising PlatformAnafikir
Turkcell, the Turkish mobile operator, has launched a new mobile advertising platform called TonlaKazan (Tone&Win). The new service allows Turkcell customers to select a branded ring back tone, and then gain airtime credits when callers listen to the ringback tone.
And, the longer the callers listen to the ringback tone, the more airtime credits are awarded.
4play Digital Workshop, a provider of innovative products and ideas, partnered with Turkcell to develop TonlaKazan.
TonlaKazan will function using a performance based pricing model, Cost Per Listening (CPL), in which advertisers will be charged according to the amount of tones that the callers actually hears.
Turkcell Value Added Services Chief Executive Officer Cenk Serdar said, We have launched the service with major brands like Akbank, Coca-Cola, Digiturk, Garanti Bankasi, Kraft, Nestle, Nivea, P&G, and Unilever.
The service will be available to a limited amount of Turkcell customers during the launch period. Customers can register through Web, Wap and SMS channels. 4play Digital Workshop partnered with Turkcell to develop TonlaKazan.
Serdar added, we are proud of breaking new ground in the advertising industry. We are not just launching a new advertising platform with TonlaKazan, but also a new concept.

The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes.
