This document describes a job opening for an SAP IS Retail Consultant in Gurgaon, India. The ideal candidate should have 5 years of experience in SAP systems with 2-3 years experience in materials management functional processes. Responsibilities include configuring purchase order and pricing documents, resolving user issues, developing reports, and implementing SAP modules for materials management, production planning, and project costing. The position requires expert knowledge of various SAP modules and processes.

1.1.Candidate should have MM Functional consultant having experience for 5 years
in SAP System and should have material management functional experience with
business process for 2/3 years.
2.Configuration skill for PO doc types, PR Doc types, taxation procedure for all
purchases, pricing procedure release strategy for PR / PO / Contracts, interface
with FI for automatic posting for all Inventory Management transaction, invoice
verification transaction,, vendor master.
3. Resolving day to day issues of users in MM ,Inventory Management.
4. Changes in configuration based on requirements of client with change in
business processes if required.
5. Preparation of Functional specification for new development activities in
MM /
6.Development of new reports as per client's requirements
SAP Materials Mgt
An expert knowledge of all facets of SAP MM including but not limited to :
Configuration of MM Organizational Elements and assignment to overall structure.
Configuration of Material Master data and Vendor Master data, Info Record,
Source List.
Configuration of Material Types, Valuation Classes and Automatic Account
Assignments.
Configuration of Split Valuation.
Configuration of Document types and Number Ranges for PR, RFQ, PO, Contracts.
Settings for different Tolerance keys in Purchasing, Inventory Management and
Invoice Verification for automatic control.
Configuration of Calculation Schema for local vendors and Pricing Procedure with
necessary Condition Types, Access Sequences and Condition Tables.
Configuration of Release Strategys for Purchasing Documents.
Cross Module Integration with FI/CO.
Configuration and Customization of Enterprise Structure
Configuration and Customization of new material type, number assignment and
assigning the attributes, Material Masters which includes screen sequence,
fields configuration
Creation of new material groups, purchasing value keys, shipping instructions
Configuration of Vendor master which includes creation of new account groups
Configuration of screen layout for vendor master with reference to accounting
groups
Automatic Account Determination and Account Assignment.
Configured and created / maintained Purchase requisition, RFQ/Quotations, Quota
Arrangement, Source List, Purchasing info record, Purchase order & Outline
agreements.
Customization of calculation schema for local vendors & pricing procedure with
necessary Condition Types, Access Sequence & Condition Tables.
Configuration of Release Procedure for Purchase Requisition/External Purchase
Document, which includes creation of characteristic and class. New Release
strategies are created as per business requirement
Revision of Configurations/customizations as a part of Continuous Business
Improvement
Planning optimal level of inventory for different categories of the items based
on their procurement lead-time and inventory cost.
Procurement of Brought out items, Consumables, Raw materials and Tools.
Should be able to fix issues related to configuration release strategy for PR
and PO.

2. Materials planning for Offloading and Vendor development.
SAP Production and Planning
An expert knowledge of all facets of SAP PP including but not limited to :
All issues related to automated production planning.
Setting up assembly lines for new projects/products.
Resolve all MRP, Material master,PO etc. related queries of MM and PP modules.
Creating MRP views, purchasing view and quality view for the materials.
Correcting the BOM.
Uploading of safety stock, reorder point, round of values etc in the material
master.
Should have a thorough understanding in MRP, Routing, Workcenter, ATP processes.
Integrating SAP PP orders and production Bills of Materials with third party
certified Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Implementing/supporting SAP material masters MRP settings, setting up and
managing the following Bills of Materials :
Engineering BOMs
Production BOMs
Order Specific BOMs
Multiple production environments such as Make to Order, Make-to-stock, Engineer
to order
Implementing/supporting SAP Bills of Materials (BOMs) with Engineering Change
Control
Implementing/supporting SAP production routings with integration to Engineering
Change Control for routing changes.
Excellent understanding of integration with Finance and Product Costing.
Good knowledge and experience in understanding the product costing flow for both
valuated and non-valuated project stock
Knowledge about other modules including Quality Management functions will be
useful
Since this is a senior staff member position, the job will include
Participating in management meetings and reviewing the project progress
Preparation of end user training material and process documentation.
Monitor tickets with respect to SLAs and ensure deliveries are met within the
scheduled time period.
