11. What is a Wikipedia’s?
 Wikipedia is banned in the 9th Edition of
MLA
 Not a single e.g. of Wikipedia citation is
there.
 Even You Tube is neglected we find 3
examples on page 367.
 The 8th Edition declared Wikipedia and
Encyclopedia are reasonable places to
begin research.

 Minimize Pronoun Exclusion
 MLA recommends revising to make the subject plural to
avoid gendered pronouns
 MLA allows writers to use singular they when preferred
by an individual
 For example: Instead of stating, “Every teacher must
make sure that her students complete their homework,”
state, “Teachers must make sure that students complete
their homework.”

 MLA Citations. To cite an original
work of visual art (a lithograph,
painting, photograph, sculpture,
etc.) in an institution such as a
museum or in a private collection,
follow this format: Artist's last
name, first name.
