Argentina has a population of around 42 million people and its capital and largest city is Buenos Aires. The country declared independence from Spain in 1816 and established a constitution and republic in 1853. Some notable political events included the Peron era from 1943-1976 and a military dictatorship from 1976-1983. Culturally, tango dance and grilled meats are iconic, and famous literary writers include Jorge Luis Borges. Currently, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is the president and her policies have faced economic challenges including inflation and currency devaluation issues. The IT industry in Argentina has potential for growth given rising internet penetration and the government's support for development.

'Israel-Palestine Conflict' is an ongoing conflict since the mid-20th century which has still not attained any settlement between the parties involved, it is also the conflict which has attracted lots of public opinions around the world with celebrities taking sides, public protesting around the world showing their support, foreign governments sending aids and condolences for the losses suffered, while the U.N and U.S trying to broker peace agreement between the masses which has seemed to fail each and every time! So I would like to highlight this never-ending conflict and come up with a resolution to this problem through this presentation.

This presentation was prepared during my MBA days. The purpose of making this overview was to discuss the historical background of Argentina, its journey of independence and issues occurred after the Kirchner era.
In 2009 the number of outbound tourists from Argentina was 4.9 million. However, the majority of them travelled to neighbouring countries, mostly Brazil and Chile. This fact is reflected by the statistics showing the most common choice for transportation: in 2009 38% of outbound tourists chose air travel and 46% opted for travelling on land.

In grad school, we had a little fun with different countries. My teams was Argentina. There are only 14 slides, but we had a good 45 minutes of talking about Argentina (I wish I still had the notes to upload with this). I wouldn\'t mind visiting Argentina!
