Mixed media refers to artwork created using more than one medium. For example, a work combining paint, ink, and collage on a canvas would be considered mixed media. This week, students are asked to create at least one large mixed media drawing considering shade and tone, complete a double page on a mixed media artist in their sketchbook, and optionally do additional mixed media drawings exploring their chosen theme. They may also want to start taking photographs.
