Mixed media refers to artwork created using more than one medium. For example, a painting on canvas that combines paint, ink, and collage would be considered mixed media. This week, students are asked to create at least one large mixed media drawing considering shade and tone, complete a page on a mixed media artist, and optionally complete a second mixed media drawing using materials like brown paper, coffee, tissue paper, and conte crayon.
