In a May 9, 2024 paper, Juri Opitz from the University of Zurich, along with Shira Wein and Nathan Schneider form Georgetown University, discussed the importance of linguistic expertise in natural language processing (NLP) in an era dominated by large language models (LLMs).
The authors explained that while machine translation (MT) previously relied heavily on linguists, the landscape has shifted. “Linguistics is no longer front and center in the way we build NLP systems,” they said. With the emergence of LLMs, which can generate fluent text without the need for specialized modules to handle grammar or semantic coherence, the need for linguistic expertise in NLP is being questioned.

1. Miss world, beauty, purpose and life
How we seeing this world, nature beauty, construction design, science magic, evolution and revolution this is our world. It
Is fast moving world and should we forget our self to look? Give a pride look yourself. Faces and faces, body and body,
beautiful thing is we resembles beauty within. Mirror it is not that waste, it is actually a witness of our beauty. Beauty is
something and it denotes something that’s why it has its talks. And yes, why not to talk on beauty, I say it is the most
fascinating subject of the world. Even a child talks it with their closed ones. And elders make a fun on their way. Our world
is full ofbeauty and beautiful faces.
To recognize and talk recently we have had 'Miss World' 2018 held in sanya city arena in sanya, china on December 8
where miss world 2017 winner manushi chiller of india crowned her successor Vanessa ponce of maxico. Miss world is a
oldest running international beauty pageant started by Eric Morley in 1951. Along with miss universe, miss earth, miss
international this pageant is one of the biggest international beauty pageant. It has not its name in this form and fame
unless different changes make it found this, first it is started as 'Bikini Contest' and later after times it found its name as
'Miss World'. From 1951 to 2018 today, this world already found their 68 'Miss world' in number. All this beauty doesn't
came in worth unless they have had their work on different social serve. As in the contest they address themselves as
influential person to the society , nation and world along with talent, grace, poise, personality and intelligence. All that are
their trade mark, which they promise to have with themselves during a contest. Round to round they reflect those traits
to prove themselves to the judges. And cheer at the end ceremony with crown. And a beautiful part of 'Miss World' is
beauty with purpose, the winner stand for their project. This make 'Miss World' something special it goes for cause and
lady with win was in front. Doesn't it worthy, someone win herself and stand for other? 2018 'beauty with Purpose'
winner Shrinkhala Khatiwada Said, "I'd like to thank all the donors and supporters who made this project possible. I just
acted as a mediator, its you guys who did it. Hoping for the same support forward as this is just a start. We all can do so
much together.' And she was in her way with road construction and fund raising for a cause. Yes this is something special.
'Miss World' 1994 Aishwarya rai (bacchan) said ,"the miss worlds that we have had up to date, have been proof enough
that they have had compassion, compassion for the underprivileged, and not only for who have had people, who can look
beyond the barriers that man has set up – of nationalities and colour. We have to look beyond those and that would make
a true 'Miss World'. A true person. A real person." 'Miss World Manushi chillar answered in a question what is that
particular profession according to her deserves the highest salary and why?, "since I am very close to my mother , I think a
mother deserves love and respect , I don't think its just about salary but about love and respect you give to someone and I
think my mom has always been the biggest inspiration in my life and all mothers they sacrifice so much for their kids. So, I
think profession of highest respect and salary should be that of a mother." 'Miss World' Reita Faria get attention for a
word she said she said about that in a manner , "when I replied that india needed more obstetricians and gynecologists,
2. they said india has lots of babies . I said that was something to discourage, which got a lot of applause." These are the
words which make them stay in top and cheer, and still after that they cheer with their work. Why not , they actually
came up with their trade mark . It is shown in different time , in different nations in different ways . Priyanka Chopra
winner of 'Miss World' 2000 support UNICEF , 'Miss World' Lebanon serves a life with gift of life bebanon, 'Miss World BVI
marched in support of Austin awareness, 'Miss World' Guyana 2016 Stephanie Delvalle launches Guyana's social and
emotional learning program (S.E.L), 'Miss World' Africa awards 5 scholarships to Mombasa siblings. These and many more
that those beauty in work. Andthese allare reason to cheer forthem. And why not?
Did we hear beauty speak? Everything carry something in this world. We left a thing we don't want, we kept thing that we
want. It is a rule. If we came to deny it , we have to go for another thought. Thing to thing it build surface to stand . Value
it is in worth in its own self, and we talk of it. This is the beauty and all these 'Miss Worlds' spoke that. Every beauty of this
world should be spoken. There should be me , you and all we, cheer and talk in a name of beauty. Fly and fly even if there
is nothing but in a name of beauty just fly. It can be said a mad but why not? Why not to fall in something which name
itself is beauty. And beauty is surly count.
Dark it is always with us, we can't separate it from us and even 'Miss World'. "miss world is certainly not seen as a
respected part of today's fashion world." Says fashion journalist Debbie Bee. Assets of the company behind miss world
had been frozen by the high court in London after a Nigerian businesswomen claimed suffered of almost of pound
500,000."it’s a voyeuristic TV nonsense on the same level as it’s a knockout. It just a Naff." Muriel gray adds "miss world
has always been ugly. It was never about sex. It was always about power." All these and many more 'Miss Worlds' are
facing from people, it is dark and it is not separated from 'Miss World'. Wherever those divas goes they will have to listen
different voices raising from different persons , communities. They are in a road , they perform their role , in a junction of
a road somebody they found with a raising voice they hear and beauty is, they return smile, and follow a journey. this is
the commitment a commitment oflife.
