5. Infrastructure, Risk & Controls (IR&C)
Standardization:
In previous years, each group within CCB had their own IR&C services and
each tower operated differently, but IR&C employees have recently been pulled
out and formed into their own group to service CCB as a whole
What does this mean for my team?
✦ Must define/standardize work processes
✦ Must create processes that work year after year to
deliver consistent results
✦ Must communicate with all towers to create one
master task timeline
✦ Must compensate for last year’s carryover projects
without creating an endless cycle of carryover
6. What does IR&C do?
• Services all seven groups within CCB
• Supports the technology used
(hardware and software)
• My team supports the Operations Technology
(OPT) tower within CCB
7. Solutions Engineer (SE)
How do SE’s add value?
They design plans to keep CCB technology
relevant by:
• Creating, prioritizing tech refresh
• Compiling requirements for net new apps
• Creating, managing, and enforcing a budget
timeline across all towers
