- 2. Ilmu merupakan pengetahuan yang kita gumuli sejak bangku sekolah dasar sampai pendidikan lanjutan dan perguruan tinggi. Sehingga ilmu yang kita dapat setelah melalui tahapan pendidikan menjadi alat untuk memperbaharui hidup, mencapai suatu keinginan dan membawa ketujuan hidup yaitu kebahagiaan. Pada dasarnya ilmu yang kita pelajari bersifat netral karena ilmu tidak mengenal sifat baik maupun buruk dalam ilmu itu sendiri tetapi tergantung pada orang yang memiliki ilmu tersebut, bagaimana dia memanfaatkan ilmu yang telah didapatkannya dan bergunakah ilmu yang telah dipelajarinya untuk kehidupan sosialnya. Dalam hal ini ilmu yang berkaitan dengan kegunaannya akan di bahas dalam kajian filsafat yang ketiga yaitu aksiologi. Karena, pada hakikatnya ilmu harus digunakan dan dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan manusia sebagai sarana atau alat dalam meningkatkan taraf hidup manusia dengan memperhatikan nilai atau etika, kodrat dan martabat manusia.
- 3. PENGERTIAN AKSIOLOGI Aksiologi merupakan bagian ketiga dari kajian filsafat setelah ontologi dan epistomologi. Jika dalam kajian entologi mempertanyakan tentang objek apa yang akan ditelaah dan pada kajian epistomologi berkaitan dengan bagaimana asal, sifat dan jenis pengetahuan, sedangkan aksiologi merupakan cabang filsafat yang memepertanyakan bagaimana manusia menggunakan dan memanfaatkan ilmunya. Kata aksiologi berasal dari bahasa yunani, dari kata axsios yang artinya nilai dan logos artinya ilmu atau teori. Aksiologi juga sering disebut dengan teori of value. Aksiologi adalah teori yang berkaitan dengan kegunaan dari pengetahuan yang diperoleh.

- 5. KATEGORI DASAR AKSIOLOGI Terdapat dua kategori dasar aksiologi : Objectivism, yaitu penilaian terhadap sesuatu yang dilakukan apa adanya sesuai keadaan objek yang dinilai. Subjectivism, yaitu penilaian terhadap sesuatu dimana dalam proses penilaian terdapat unsur intuisi (perasaan). Dari sini muncul empat pendekatan etika, yaitu : Teori nilai intuitif Teori nilai rasional Teori nilai alamiah Teori nilai emotif Teori nilai intuitif dan teori nilai rasional beraliran obyectivis sedangkan teori nilai alamiah dan teori nilai emotif beraliran subyektivis.

- 9. Teori Nilai intuitif (The Intuitive theory of value) Teori ini berpandangan bahwa sukar jika tidak bisa dikatakan mustahil untuk mendefinisikan suatu perangkat nilai yang absolut. Bagaimanapun juga suatu perangkat nilai yang absolute itu eksis dalam tatanan yang bersifat obyektif. Nilai ditemukan melalui intuisi karena ada tatanan moral yang bersifat baku. Mereka menegaskan bahwa nilai eksis sebagai piranti obyek atau menyatu dalam hubungan antar obyek, dan validitas dari nilai tidak bergantung pada eksistensi atau perilaku manusia. Jadi dengan nalar atau peran tuhan nilai ultimo, obyektif, absolut yang seharusnya mengarahkan perilakunya.
