Pietro Parolin, ricorderanno il 50esimo anniversario dalla proclamazione di San Benedetto a Patrono d’Europa. Al convegno dedicato ad “Identità europea e radici cristiane dell’Europa”, parteciperanno, tra gli altri, mons. Enrico Dal Covolo, Antonio Tajani, Gianni Pittella, Salvatore Adduce. Modererà l’incontro il giornalista Rai Antonio Preziosi.

Sabato 15 novembre 2014 alle ore 18.30 nei locali dell'Associazione per la Tutela delle Tradizioni Popolari del Trapanese sita in Trapani via Vespri 32, presente un numeroso gruppo di soci, si è svolto il settimanale incontro previsto dal programma delle attività del XXVIII Corso di cultura relativo all'anno 2014.
Ospite della serata la Dott.ssa Daniela Scandariato che i presenti ed il Presidente hanno accolto calorosamente in quanto assiduamente negli ultimi anni ha partecipato alle attività dell'Associazione. Già docente di Storia dell'arte opera attualmente presso il Museo '' A. Pepoli '' di Trapani, ricercatrice, ha effettuato anche diverse pubblicazioni; è figlia dei Signori Scandariato, soci dell'Associazione.
Aperti i lavori, il Prof. Valenti, dopo aver brevemente presentato e ringraziato la relatrice perchè sempre disponibile ad accettare l'invito dell'Associazione, ha introdotto il tema della serata che si può considerare in argomento con le festività natalizie che si stanno apprestando ed in considerazione anche che le opere di cui si parlerà nel corso della serata sono state attribuite all'artista trapanese Giovanni Matera.
