This document outlines the planning and milestones for new features in version 2.5 of the MiTV RMC (rich media client) scheduled for release in May 2011. Key phases include preparation, development, and validation. Milestones include requirements documentation by February 26th, API availability by March 1st, and delivery of the updated Android RMC by May 5th. 11. Risks Due to the many different teams involved in the project, the appearance of various delays is very probable and so we planned a buffer of one week.

Conclusions Gantt Project is a very useful tool for a project manager because it allows him to coordinate a project keeping track of the tasks, the resources, the milestones and how they all interact and influence each other. One big advantage of Gantt Project is the fact that it is free, while Microsoft Project is not.

13. Conclusions (2) Gantt Project really shows it’s power when we need to change something in the planning. The dependencies and deadlines are automatically updated when we change one task. Resource allocation is very easy and you can specify the amount of work each resource will do (full-time, part-time, etc.) Gantt Project can be used both for small projects and large ones.
