RIVERS, ETC COLLECT AROUND THE SCHOOL USED PAPER: SET A PLACE                                                CREATE POSTERS THAT RAISE  WHERE EVERYBODY CAN MAKE THEIR CONTRIBUTION                                                   ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS (group work)                                                                                                                                                                                   Naturalistic intelligence:                                                                                 TAKE A WALK AROUND THE SCHOOL AND LIST                                                              OBSERVATIONS REGARDING THE ENVIRONMENT AND POLLUTION Sequence These activities are to be done over the week.  Warm-up: Students watch a video that shows different environmental problems such as smog in the city, polluted rivers, smoke from factories, etc. Students have to identify each problem.  Activity 1: In groups, students create posters with legends pro environment to raise their school mates awareness on the issue. The posters are to be placed on the school’s walls: YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Activity 2: Students make a survey: they find out how every person in the class goes to school everyday. With the information obtained, they develop a pie chart that shows the result of the survey.  Activity 3: Students walk around the school’s identifying and list the environmental problems they observe.  Activity 4: Students set a place at school, where everybody can put the used paper so that it is recycled.               Activity 5: Working collaboratively with their Technology teacher, students can build a machine to recycle cans.  Activity 6: Each student reflects upon the environmental problems that have been analyzed in class and compose a letter to a newspaper, in which they complain about these matters and suggest possible solutions.  Activity 7: The whole class, or different groups, students create a musical video pro-environment
