CRS: U.S. Crude Oil and Natural Gas Production in Federal and Non-Federal AreasMarcellus Drilling News
A report issued on Feb. 28, 2013 by the Congressional Research Service, a branch of the U.S. Congress. The report shows that while oil and natural gas production on private land in the U.S. rose from 2007-2012, production decreased, significantly, on federal lands during the same period. Obama administration policies are partially to blame for the decrease in federal land production.
Quarterly analyst themes of oil and gas earningsEY
As it almost always is, oil and gas profitability was driven by crude oil, refined product and natural gas market conditions in Q2 2019. Oil prices seesawed, rising steadily during the first half of the quarter, falling during most of the second half of the quarter, before rising again at the end.

An annual report issued by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on the state of energy markets in the U.S. In this year's report, FERC says most places across the country have seen a bump up in pipelines over the past 10 years, relieving constrained natural gas transportation. Except for the Marcellus/Utica region. In the northeast, FERC expects the situation of oversupply and not enough pipelines to get resolved in 2019.
The Duff & Phelps cost trend update is now available for both the Construction Cost and Equipment Cost indices. This trend update dates back to 2015 and shows how the last four years has been relatively stable for construction after a decade of volatility, while the equipment cost indices continues to show moderate year-on-year changes. Please be reminded that these indices are just average indicators of change and they are not absolutes. Duff & Phelps advises that after five to seven years, you should establish a new replacement cost basis by using a qualified valuation professional. Please contact Brad Schulz at Duff & Phelps to discuss establishing a new replacement cost basis.

The US Coal Crash – Evidence for Structural Change (PDF) finds that, in the last few years, US coal markets have been pounded by a combination of cheaper renewables, energy efficiency measures, increasing construction costs and a rash of legal challenges, as well as the rise of shale gas.
The theme for this quarter is inorganic. Although prices climbed in the fourth quarter as the balance of supply and demand tilted in favour of demand, OPEC + restraint was fundamental.
The market is conscious of downside pressures that loom. OPEC + has announced production cuts through to the end of the first quarter. Beyond the first quarter, there is a risk that OPEC + grows weary of supporting the market and reverts to a strategy of growing production, protecting market share and placing pressure on the economics of unconventional producers. Production growth in Brazil and Norway has the potential to consume a significant portion of demand growth expected in 2020. Whether, or the extent to which, US shale output growth continues despite escalating financial strain across the E&P sector will be key in determining whether OPEC + cuts will be sufficient to balance the market in 2020.
In the longer-term, focus remains on the energy mix of the future and its impact on the demand for petroleum products. A number of significant uncertainties remain, including electric vehicle (EV) penetration. EY’s ‘Fueling the Future’ analyzes the outlook under four distinct scenarios. The analysis shows that an inflection point in EV penetration is required by 2022 if the terms of the Paris Accord are to be met.

A study released in June 2015 by the American Petroleum Institute titled "A Comparison of US Oil and Natural Gas Policies: Pro-development Policies vs. Proposed Regulatory Constraints". The study compares governmental energy policies--the ones that promote growth in jobs and the economy, and the ones that don't.
A report on mergers and acquisitions in the energy, mining and utilities sector during 2015. The report shows the energy market was the hardest hit with 6.8% fewer M&A deals than in 2014.
For much of the last decade through 2014, the U.S. energy sector expe¬rienced a bull market sustained by debt-financed drilling programs in emerging unconventional plays and supported by elevated commodity prices. U.S. E&P players, particularly the emerging universe of indepen¬dent unconventional operators, required an array of capital-intensive services that led to a boom in the services industry as well: rigs to handle development drilling; engineering services to handle geological surveys; logistics/infrastructure services to gather, transport, and store various hydrocarbons; and refitting of refineries to process increasing volumes of light oil. This wave of capital spending led to innovation in drilling and fracking technology, taking US production from about 6 million b/d to over 9 million b/d and marking the reversal of a decades-long decline in U.S. domestic oil production.

The European Unemployment Puzzle: implications from population agingGRAPE
We study the link between the evolving age structure of the working population and unemployment. We build a large new Keynesian OLG model with a realistic age structure, labor market frictions, sticky prices, and aggregate shocks. Once calibrated to the European economy, we quantify the extent to which demographic changes over the last three decades have contributed to the decline of the unemployment rate. Our findings yield important implications for the future evolution of unemployment given the anticipated further aging of the working population in Europe. We also quantify the implications for optimal monetary policy: lowering inflation volatility becomes less costly in terms of GDP and unemployment volatility, which hints that optimal monetary policy may be more hawkish in an aging society. Finally, our results also propose a partial reversal of the European-US unemployment puzzle due to the fact that the share of young workers is expected to remain robust in the US.

what is the future of Pi Network currency.DOT TECH
The future of the Pi cryptocurrency is uncertain, and its success will depend on several factors. Pi is a relatively new cryptocurrency that aims to be user-friendly and accessible to a wide audience. Here are a few key considerations for its future:
Message: @Pi_vendor_247 on telegram if u want to sell PI COINS.
1. Mainnet Launch: As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Pi was still in the testnet phase. Its success will depend on a successful transition to a mainnet, where actual transactions can take place.
2. User Adoption: Pi's success will be closely tied to user adoption. The more users who join the network and actively participate, the stronger the ecosystem can become.
3. Utility and Use Cases: For a cryptocurrency to thrive, it must offer utility and practical use cases. The Pi team has talked about various applications, including peer-to-peer transactions, smart contracts, and more. The development and implementation of these features will be essential.
4. Regulatory Environment: The regulatory environment for cryptocurrencies is evolving globally. How Pi navigates and complies with regulations in various jurisdictions will significantly impact its future.
5. Technology Development: The Pi network must continue to develop and improve its technology, security, and scalability to compete with established cryptocurrencies.
6. Community Engagement: The Pi community plays a critical role in its future. Engaged users can help build trust and grow the network.
7. Monetization and Sustainability: The Pi team's monetization strategy, such as fees, partnerships, or other revenue sources, will affect its long-term sustainability.
It's essential to approach Pi or any new cryptocurrency with caution and conduct due diligence. Cryptocurrency investments involve risks, and potential rewards can be uncertain. The success and future of Pi will depend on the collective efforts of its team, community, and the broader cryptocurrency market dynamics. It's advisable to stay updated on Pi's development and follow any updates from the official Pi Network website or announcements from the team.

Financial Assets: Debit vs Equity Securities.pptxWrito-Finance
financial assets represent claim for future benefit or cash. Financial assets are formed by establishing contracts between participants. These financial assets are used for collection of huge amounts of money for business purposes.
Two major Types: Debt Securities and Equity Securities.
Debt Securities are Also known as fixed-income securities or instruments. The type of assets is formed by establishing contracts between investor and issuer of the asset.

Preferred Stock: Preferred stocks are sometime referred to as hybrid securities, because it contains elements of both debit security and equity security. Preferred stock confers ownership rights to security holder that is why it is equity instrument

Executive Summary 2017

Oil prices remained relatively steady at $50/barrel
over the last twelve months despite OPEC’s wavering
commitment to production cuts.
OPEC and non-OPEC producers met in May 2017 and
agreed to extend production cuts through March of 2018.
OPEC’s stated goal was keeping the price of oil above
$50 per barrel and aimed to bring stocks down to 2.7
billion barrels. Even if OPEC was to maintain production
cuts, rising U.S. shale oil output is expected to temper
the results of OPEC’s reduction in supply. Ongoing oil
prices remain below normal levels, but exploration and
production activities have increased dramatically from
one year ago. The Baker Hughes North American (U.S.)
total oil rig count increased over 80% year-over-year.
Additionally, as oil prices stabilized around $50 per
barrel, the number of oil and gas companies filing for
bankruptcy declined. After the collapse of oil prices
Haynes and Boone updated their bankruptcy monitor
every two months. But the last time the Bankruptcy
Monitor was updated was July 2017 suggesting that
the trend of bankruptcies in the oil and gas industry is
coming to an end.
The price of crude oil is determined by market forces:
supply and demand. On pages 1 and 2, world demand
and supply are analyzed in order to understand the
current pricing environment.
