Menorca is one of the Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean. It was declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1993. The island is home to about 95,000 people and is divided into several towns. Menorca's summer is marked by festivals held in each town weekly from June to September, featuring traditional Menorquin horses and commotions. A defining experience is sampling ointment made with Xoriguer Gin and lemonade.

358 metres, and from there, you can get to see Mallorca's

6. Menorca's summer is amazing, because of his marvellous
festivals. Every week, there's a festival in each town, starting
in Ciutadella the 24th of June and finishing in Calan Porter
two weeks before the Mahon's festival in the 9 th of
September, approximately in the 22nd or the 23rd of
September.

7. All the festivals have a character in common: the typical
menorquin horse (with black skin and very strong).
The riders, dressed in a black suit and a white shirt, go on
their horses through the town streets, until then summing all
the mass of riders is celebrated traditional commotion.
Participate in commotions, typical dances of horses with a
musica band (our favourite band for festivals is the Migjorn's
one, it is amazing), is a memorable experience.

8. Essential to experience the feeling of Menorca, is to savor the
famous ointment composed with Xoriguer Gin and lemonade.

Xoriguer Gin retains its old flavor, made with alcohol as wine and
grain, and then not follow the industrial process of condensation.
