 Inhalation of NO
 Produces pulmonary vasodilation
without lowering systemic blood
pressure
 Useful in treatment of pulmonary
hypertension and high altitude
pulmonary edema

 NO relaxes smooth muscles in corpus
cavernosum
 Increases blood flow to penis and
become erect
 Sildenafil Citrate( viagra) inhibit PDE-
