with 1,000 employees, 5,800 students, an annual budget of $138,465,260 and a transportation fleet
totaling 88 buses and vans. Active member of the Budget Committee, Facilities Committee,
Curriculum Committee and Audit Committee.
OLD COUNTRY GARDENS 2005 – 2011
Sole Proprietor – South Huntington, NY
Responsible for all aspects of a small home based nursery including advertising through the
internet, lecturing extensively to garden clubs and organizations in the USA and Canada, balancing
accounts, purchasing stock and maintaining the corresponding website and garden blog. This
project began in April 2005 as a way to earn money for the local high school marching band and
grew to become a well respected backyard nursery. Featured numerous times in Newsday.
