This document outlines a reading program in Filipino for the 2021-2022 school year. It includes a timeline of pre-assessments from September to October 2021 using the EGRA for grades 1-2 and Phil-IRI for grades 3-6 to identify struggling learners. From November to April, identified students will receive reading interventions focusing on skills like alphabet knowledge, syllabication, and comprehension. Techniques like using flashcards and repetition will be used. Progress will be documented. Post-assessments will occur in May 2022 to measure the impact of the interventions.
