This document introduces the employability team at NTU that supports Art & Design students. It lists the names and roles of 8 team members: Linda Marchant is the School Employability Manager; Rish Baruah and Donna Carr are Careers Consultants who work with specific courses; Phil Bryon assists with work experience placements; Laura Lewin and Vicky Hodgson liaise with employers for internships and placements; Jolene Hall creates new employer relationships; and Diana Pasek-Atkinson supports students interested in freelancing or starting their own business. Design students and staff, and is
involved in strategy, events and
employer liaison.

Careers Consultant
Rish primarily works with courses in
Visual Arts, Visual Communications
and Fashion Management, Marketing
& Communications.

sandwich placements, work
experience and internships, use
of the InPlace portal, and he can
offer you feedback on your CV.

setting up events, presentations
and feedback for internships, jobs
and Year 2 Sandwich
Placements.

7. Vicky Hodgson
Business Adviser
Vicky liaises with employers,
setting up presentations and
feedback for internships, jobs and
short work placements in Year 2
of your degree.

Business Development Consultant
Jolene works to create new
relationships with local, national
and international employers to
create job and placement
opportunities, and invite
employers onto campus.

Enterprise Adviser
Diana can support you if you are
thinking about working for
yourself as a freelancer, or setting
up a business, in the fashion
industry, creative or any other
sector.
