now accepting applications for the MEDIATION -
ORIENTATION& RESEARCH SUMMER PROGRAMME
2019. Prerna Foundation is an NGO actively engaged in
projects related to various social concerns, be it child
education, women and youth empowerment, legal
awareness and mediation outreach
This programme is a unique effort to prepare next
generation lawyers for their journey
towards collaborative resolutions. It also seeks to
engage the common man in an interaction to help
raise their awareness about Mediation as a means for
achieving a closure on their pending disputes and
conflicts..

3. MEDIATION - ORIENTATION& RESEARCH
SUMMER PROGRAMME is thoughtfully designed
in a way that it enables participants to develop
collaborative thinking approach towards
disputes. Also to have a clear understanding of
the benefits of Mediation as dispute resolution
mechanism over conventional long drawn court
proceedings.
The programme is designed to equip next
generation lawyers with required skills for
negotiation viz strategising, planning, drafting,
communication. Destructive conflicts end in no
result, thus the need of mediation. Mediation is
gaining recognition globally because of its
inherent benefits. Mediation is an art which can
be parallel profession to advocacy.
