Sunset Monalisa’s signature creations delight sophisticated palates. The sensuous menu, including gluten free
and vegetarian alternatives, is offered á la carte or as a Menu “de Desgustazione’ paired with an exceptional
selection of wines. Tantalizing, delectable offerings include culinary delights such as the Pettola di Mozzarella,
a gluten free antipasto menu selection, with house-made mozzarella wrapped around Parma prosciutto, local
organic cherry tomatoes, pesto and olive oil and the Tartufonero, a Sunset Monalisa signature dish prepared with
house-made tagliatelle, black winter truffles and 24-month aged ‘Parmigiano’ cheese - a delicacy to please even
the most refined diners.

fashioned offering, to the delights of Mexican chocolate liqueur fl avored with licorice or rosemary, the Sunset

In 1984 when Giorgio Battaglia of Florence, Italy and Cristina Bremer Rodriguez, niece of Mexican president
Abelardo Rodriguez, travelled together to Los Cabos, the land of sensuous sun and azure seas their love
blossomed. By 1991 this love blossomed into Ristorante Da Giorgio, an accolade to their love.
The naturally enchanting magic of this beachside location bore witness to the birth of this legendary restaurant
as a monument to romance establishing its place in love’s history for evermore.
This legendary monument to romance is now in the capable hands of the next generation, a group of passionate
Italian owners who carry on this tradition of love, romance and excellence, under the supervision of the
impeccably Michelin–star trained Chef Paollo Della Corte.

Perched atop the Sunset Monalisa is the Sunset Point
Wine and Pizza Lounge. The casual and relaxed
ambiance of Sunset Point, with picture perfect vistas of
the iconic Land’s End arch, surrounding purple-hued
mountains, spectacular sunsets, and live music is the
idealsetting for romance and memorable experiences.
Executive chef Paolo Della Corte fosters those
passions with carefully selected and conscientiously
blended ingredients that turn pizzas into a fine-dining
love affair.
The lounge is a delightful place to gather with friends, host family celebrations, and corporate parties or just to
take a moment to enjoy la dolce vita Sunset Point-style. The skilled bartenders extract the essence of local
ingredients and specialty liqueurs to create delightful cocktails that further enhance the culinary experience. The
extensive wine list includes over 140 labels.
Gourmet pizzas start with the best of ingredients including imported Caputo fl our with its lower gluten level
ensuring an absolutely perfect crust. Della Corte specialities include the “Sunset Point” pizza made with a porcini
mushroom sauce, baked potato, smoked provolone, and hand-cut, perfectly-trimmed filet mignon, sprinkled with
truffl e oil, as well as the “Napolitano Sausage” pizza. This Neapolitan delicacy is made from a unique species of
broccoli leaves grown in Naples. The house favorite, “Pizza Burrata” blends the best of the Sunset Monalisa with
Sunset Point and includes porcini mushrooms, house-made burrata, bacon and arugula. All gourmet pizzas are
baked in a traditional wood-burning oven.

Rossellinis Restaurant close to his hometown on the Amalfi Coast of Italy and
with famed chef Heston Blumenthal, whose exceptionally high standards and
essential experience greatly influenced Della Corte during his affiliation with
The Fat Duck in London, the famed 3-Star Michelin restaurant. Additional experience includes Restaurant
Giovanni Rana and celebrated Restaurant San Domenico (2-Star Michelin) in Imola.

David Montiel oversees all weddings, rehearsal dinners, site inspections, corporate and incentive groups,
multi-tasking with apparent ease and the extraordinary empathy required to successfully create amazing events,
from the most intimate of family gatherings to multinational corporations such as Hewlett-Packard, Coca-Cola,
and Boeing.
A native of Mexico City, Montiel, a university graduate of foreign languages, has more than fifteen years of
excellent client care experience among five-star establishments including the Westin Los Cabos Golf & Beach
Resort, Hilton Los Cabos, Sheraton Hacienda del Mar as well as the destination management industry.
Montiel is fast, responsive, attentive to details and knowledgeable of all aspects of event planning making him
the ideal special events coordinator.
Armenta provides marketing support and ensures that Sunset Monalisa is on visitor’s radars through her contact
with the local and international media and hotel concierges. With a B.A. in Communication from her native
Mexico City, and a lengthy career of promoting large and small corporations; she is the indispensable link
between the finest sunset casual and fine dining experience and the visitors and residents of Los Cabos.

In 1984 when Giorgio Battaglia of Florence, Italy and Cristina Bremer Rodriguez, niece of Mexican president Abelardo Rodriguez, travelled together to Los Cabos, the land of sensuous sun and azure seas their love blossomed.
