• I have chosen my production logo to be called
"Tiggs Terror Productions , I used a boy who is pale
and looks haunted because it is something that
people would look at and automatically think is an
production company that specialises in making
  horror movies.
• A production company develops new media the
company can also be held responsible for funding
the media. The company also covers areas such
as shooting, producing and editing of the media
product. A film distributor has to produce a
schedule from a year before showing when
certain things are going to be released before the
film is officially out, they will have to market the
film. For my film I would raise the funds myself or
use low budget equipment and look for a
production company to fund half of it.
I would choose Dimension Films to be the distributor of my film because the films they
distribute are mainly horrors and as the company is known for it, the films that have been
distributed by them have become successful I believe that mine would too. Films they have
distributed that are similar to mine is "Halloween" the killer identity is never revealed as his
face is covered by a mask. "Scream 2", "Scream 3" there are many twist and turns to the
movie leaving the killer being revealed as a teenager just like mine. Also the killers identity is
always hidden behind a mask until the end of the film
• Titles are needed in a film opening because
they inform the audience about who were
important members behind scenes to give
them credit and to show cast members. I have
presented the names in my title sequence as a
slow moving transition that overlaps on top of
  the film.
• Films such as "Halloween", "The Texas Chainsaw
Massacre", "Scream", "Friday 13th and "The Strangers"
influenced me because all the killers had mask' on that
are iconic people. Due to the fact their facial features
were not revealed it left the audience wanting more.
The mask's they used to cover their identity' were plain
and simple they influenced me to use a mask, but also
the story lines and characters influenced the narrative
and planning of my film. They changed the planning
and narrative of my film by making me see that these
films have the same characters such as a few males, a
ditsy female, and other females that over powered the
men to becoming survivors of the horror inflicted on
them by the killers. I chose to challenge the convention
of having a male killer into a female killer and you only
being able to see two male characters instead of
  females.
