- 1. So far, I have completed tasks which are going to help me to create my own music magazine. I have looked at magazines such as Q, Kerrang, NME and more to get an idea of the kind of genre that I will eventually want to base my magazine on. Also, I have completed a questionnaire to help me to get a clearer understanding of what people are going to want to look for in a music magazine. On different music magazines, I have analysed the front cover, Contents page and the double page spread on 2-3 magazines. This has definitely helped me understand the range of ideas that I can use to create a unique, music magazine of my choice. By doing this will help my learning and expand my knowledge of music magazines in order to create my own, later on in the task. It will allow me to know what is going to make a good magazine and will appeal to my target audience. However, by getting answers to my questionnaire may also change my view of what I want my magazine to look like. It may not be appealing to my audience as it is for me, and will mean that I will have to change the appearance in order to get a good grade. But, this will be a good thing as I will eventually be able to analyse what people of my age bracket find appealing in a modern music magazine today..
