Having a dual MPLS network with Level 3 and
Windstream, the customer needed their network
configured to work properly and optimally with
the new VeloCloud solution. They were also
running into a gateway issue of routing between
two separate MPLS clouds.
Business Problem
The customer asked QOS to work with their sites
to provide high availability for their data center
and remote branches. Several sites required a
high availability pair for increased redundancy,
as VeloCloud provided seamless fail-over in the
event of a device failure. Due to challenges with a
previous implementation partner, the customer
required a full network overhaul to reconfigure
their routes for an optimized working solution.
Solution
QOS Networks was brought in by VMware, as
one of their premier partners. QOS redesigned
the network to properly implement their SD-
WAN solution that would route between the
two separate MPLS clouds in addition to the
new broadband circuits that the customer was
also deploying. The MPLS networks across both
carriers were each routed based on the needs
of the business and QOS optimized the design
to work with VeloCloud. Ultimately, the customer
was able to successfully implement their SD-
WAN solution, keep their high availability, and get
the performance they needed.
