The magazine SKRILLA targets a rap music audience. The front cover image focuses solely on a recognizable rap artist to attract readers. Interior images feature serious facial expressions of models against plain black backgrounds to portray the stereotypical aggressiveness of rap music. The magazine contents page lists SKRILLA's social media accounts to interact with readers, as social media is an important part of readers' lives. Potential advertising partners include big clothing brands that rap fans value for appearance. Concerts are also a promotional opportunity, as music is essential to the audience. The front cover and consistent color scheme throughout provide structure and professional appeal.

1. How did you attract and
address the audience?

2. SKRILLA offers a very urban look to rap music and makes the audience to feel at home.
The overall feel of my magazine it is very obvious that this is a rap magazine due to the
images I have used and my colour scheme I have used throughout.
The front cover of my magazine which will be the first thing that people will see is very
dulcet and I avoided using coverlines as I wanted the focus to solely be on the main image
in which the audience will be attracted to as the artist on the image is recognisable.

3. Images
The images that I took where either close
up shot or a medium shot. Also the facial
expressions my models used where very
serious faces to stereotype the fact that rap
is seen as aggressive. The background for
the majority of my images where black or I
photoshopped the background to change
the colour. I decided to this as though it
was best if the background was not too
distracting so that focus could be on the
model.

4. Social Media
I acknowledge that social media Is a big part of people's life during this day and
age this is why I made sure to include on the contents page that SKRILLA has
Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. I also believe that those who read SKRILLA
will have at least one of those social media. This means that SKRILLA is able to
interact with the audience and that they are able to know what's going on.

5. Promotional
 Advertising through big clothing or
shoes such nike, adidas, footlocker.
This is because big clothing brand is
apart of who these people are and
their appearance means a lot for them.
Music is an essential element for my
audience so they will go to yearly
concerts such as wireless.

6. Conventions of design
 My front cover is simple but I feel as though the image but my headline is effective.
I opted on using a colour scheme throughout my magazine as it makes magazine
seem more structured. By me doing this it makes the magazine more appealing
and professional
