2. Narrative;
Follows the relationship between a boy and girl through a series of
photographs.
We see these shots crosscutting with shots of a calendar with the months
passing by.
We can see they are counting down to something but we don’t know.
The final chorus and verse show them finally together in a room of fairy
lights as if at a prom.
They dance together and I would help to create atmosphere through use
of slow motion shots and close ups.
Final image is of a photograph- showing them both at the prom.
4. .
The opening establishing shots would be of a window seat in a
stereotypical girls bedroom. We then see a bed with pink sheets and sheet
music all over the covers.
. The next shot would show a light wood acoustic guitar in the corner of
the bedroom with a girl sitting with it on her lap.
. We then cut to a mid shot of the girl as she sings the first line of the
song.
. Then a close up of her face as she looks out of the window.
There would then be a fade to a white screen as if in blinding sunlight to a
stereotypical boys room.

6.
7. We see a mirror image of the boy doing what the girl is doing.
The next shot is of a window seat in his room then a pan to his bed which
has blue covers in a stereotypical boys room.
We then zoom in to a photo on his wooden bedside table on the right of his
bed and see a photo if him and the girl in the first scene. He is giving her a
piggy back and they are laughing.-The chorus kicks in here.
I would then zoom in to the photo and have the image ‘come alive’.
We see the girl and boy in the photo and he pretends to drop her.
I would then use a slow motion shot of the pair spinning in a circle.
With an extreme close up of the girls hair as it fly's behind her. And then her
eyes so the audience can see her emotion of happiness.
8.
9. In between the shots of the boy and girl I will have cross cutting images of
a calendar on the walls of both the bedrooms.
10. The next shot cuts to the girl walking round her room dragging her finger
across her bedroom wall underneath some photos of her playing the
guitar on her bed, walking in the countryside and sitting wrapped in a
blanket on a white sofa reading a book.
Each scene will ‘come alive’ and we see her in each shot lip synching as she
does these activities.
The first will be a pan shot going round to her front so we can see her
singing. We then cut to a side close up shot of her face as she has a vacant
expression on her face.
We then see the next shot of her in the photo
She remains engrossed in what she is doing, throughout these shots.
11.
12. The rest of the sequence follows the relationship between this boy and girl
through a series of photos each one coming alive showing a new scene
and the way the positions mirror each other.
In the fin al chorus we see the girl and boy surrounded by white fairy lights
both dressed up for a ‘prom’. They would be slow dancing
I would use slow motion shots of them dancing using a tracking shot
around them.
The final image is of a photograph of them at the prom.
15. Costume and artists relating to artists
image;
The costume of the girl reflects the image of the artist as an ‘indie folk
singer’
We can see this image in some of the artists videos.
The image of the artist is similar to that of ’young’ Taylor Swift.
