Guidance involves providing direction or advice to help individuals, especially less experienced ones. It aims to help people understand their strengths and limitations and make good decisions. Counseling is a therapeutic process where a counselor assists clients in resolving personal or psychological issues by empathetically listening and discussing problems. It focuses more on treating mental health concerns. While guidance takes a preventative approach and provides options, counseling delves deeper to address underlying causes and help clients develop their own solutions. Both aim to help address problems, but counseling is a more intensive therapeutic process whereas guidance provides general advice.
