Chaos is used in the book of Genesis chapter 1 as something God created. Here the word without form chaos is found. What is the purpose of chaos? What did God create chaos?
The letters C, M, B have two meanings:
• They are the initials of the traditional names of the three magi: Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar.
• They also abbreviate the Latin words Christus mansionem benedicat, “May Christ bless the house.” - I AM USING THIS BLESSING IN MY CAR.
The “+” signs represent the cross and 2018 is the year.
Here’s a suggested format for the blessing:
All make the Sign of the Cross.
Leader: “Peace be to this house and to all who dwell here, in the name of the Lord.
All: Thanks be to God.
Reader: When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea,
in the days of King Herod,
behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying,
“Where is the newborn king of the Jews?
We saw his star at its rising
and have come to do him homage.”
After their audience with the king they set out.
And behold, the star that they had seen at its rising preceded them,
until it came and stopped over the place where the child was.
They were overjoyed at seeing the star,
and on entering the house
they saw the child with Mary his mother.
They prostrated themselves and did him homage.
Then they opened their treasures
and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod,
they departed for their country by another way.
The word of the Lord.
When we become Christ followers the old man is destroyed and the new man begins to emerge. In Ephesians 4:22-32 Paul describes this new nature: no lying, no sinful anger, no stealing, no corrupt words, no grieving the Holy Spirit, no bitterness and wrath but rather a kindness toward one another. Is the New Man showing in you?

The document discusses Zacharias, a priest, who encounters the angel Gabriel at the altar of incense. Gabriel tells Zacharias that his wife Elizabeth will bear a son named John, but Zacharias doubts this due to his and his wife's old age. As punishment for his disbelief, Zacharias is rendered mute and unable to speak until John's birth. The document then discusses the significance of prayer and incense in the Bible and how prayer should be made with faith, without doubt or wrath.
Revelation, Lesson 37, Blessed are the Dead, Who Die in the Lordblackforestchapelorg
The document discusses that those who die in faith will find rest from their labors and their deeds will follow them. It references several Bible passages about God's judgment and wrath being poured out on the unrighteous like grapes being trodden in a wine press. The Son of Man will send out his angels at the end of the age to gather the elect and punish sinners with eternal damnation.
The document provides an overview of chaos theory, including its key characteristics and history. It discusses Edward Lorenz's discovery of the butterfly effect using a simplified weather model. Lorenz found that small changes to initial conditions could drastically alter long-term outcomes, making predictions impossible. This led to the concept of sensitive dependence on initial conditions in chaotic systems. The document also describes Lorenz's water wheel experiment and the Lorenz attractor diagram that helped establish chaos theory.
Chaos theory deals with nonlinear and complex systems that are highly sensitive to initial conditions. These systems, while deterministic, are largely unpredictable due to this sensitivity. Lorenz discovered this "butterfly effect" through modeling atmospheric convection. Chaotic systems evolve toward attractors, which can be fixed points, limit cycles, or strange attractors exhibiting fractal geometry. This geometry is seen throughout nature. While chaotic systems cannot be precisely predicted, control methods like Ott-Grebogi-Yorke can influence their behavior. Chaos theory has applications across many domains.

The document discusses the 144,000 witnesses described in Revelation 7 and 14. It describes how four angels hold back winds to prevent harm until the 144,000 servants of God are sealed. The 144,000 are 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel and are said to be redeemed from the earth and follow the Lamb without fault, having kept themselves chaste.
This document provides commentary on a passage from the biblical book of Zephaniah, dated to between 640-612 BC. It was a prophecy warning of God's coming judgment on Judah for rampant sin, including idolatry, rejection of God, and lack of conviction about sin. The commentary analyzes themes in Zephaniah related to complete destruction and desolation as punishment for sin, comparing it to the Flood and future judgments. It aims to demonstrate the relevance of Zephaniah's message for societies that accept sin as normal and reject conviction about sin.
The document discusses how we can provoke God to jealousy by worshipping other gods or giving praise and glory to another instead of God alone. It says we become God's enemy if we do this and he will take vengeance. It provides examples from history of how people provoked God to jealousy through pagan worship of idols and images. It suggests this trend of paganism continues today through the worship and admiration of images, which it describes as a type of "imagination". The document warns that God hates wicked imaginations and calls the mindset of idolatry.
Swallowed Up
I. A Crazy Critic. “Swallow a Camel” (Matthew 23:24).
II. An Extinct Enemy. “Death is swallowed up in victory” (1 Corinthians 15:54).
III. A Discouraged Disciple. “Swallowed up with overmuch sorrow” (2 Corinthians 2:7).
IV. Temporal made Eternal. “Swallowed up of life” (2 Corinthians 5:4).
V. An Overwhelmed Overseer. “Assaying to do were drowned” (Hebrews 11:29).
VI. A Ferocious Foe. “Seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8).
VII. An Unexpected Assistant. “Swallowed up the flood” (Revelation 12:16).
Exodus 39: 42-43; 40: 1-4, 34-38 His presenceLazarou Richard
God enjoys dwelling with His obedient people. The document discusses how the Israelites completed building the tabernacle according to God's commands. When it was finished, the cloud of God's presence filled the tabernacle. God's presence dwelling with His people was the primary theme of Exodus and goal of building the tabernacle.
This document discusses how some Christian practices and traditions have incorporated or adapted aspects of pagan beliefs and rituals. It provides several Bible passages that warn against following pagan customs or adding to God's commands. The document suggests some Christian holidays, concepts, and symbols were derived from ancient gods and religions rather than being part of the original faith taught in the Bible. It aims to educate readers about pagan influences and principles that became Christianized over time.

Bible Covenant A Closer Look at Genesis 1 Verse 1 In the Beginning.pptxSister Lara
This document discusses the concept of covenant from a biblical perspective. It analyzes the first few words of Genesis 1:1 ("In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth") through the lens of covenant. Some key points made include:
- Rest is not something you strive for but a position God holds believers in as fully reconciled to Him.
- The creation account reveals God's desire to bring redemption to mankind through covenant.
- Studying Scripture means learning to bring out what is already inside the disciple. God writes His laws on believers' hearts through blood covenant.
- The Hebrew word "Roshe" in "beginning" refers to shaking thoughts and also means twisted branches, alluding to covenant
The document discusses the 144,000 witnesses described in Revelation 7 and 14. It describes how four angels hold back winds to prevent harm until the 144,000 servants of God are sealed. The Hands of God Three Insights to Access the Power of God in Prayer Sister Lara
The document discusses three insights into accessing power in prayer. First, through Christ the veil was torn, allowing people to live inside God as he works through them. Second, God reaches down to where people are through his hands. Third, when the Father made Jesus one with him again by his hands, Jesus dwelt in God's fullness through his breath. The document uses the imagery of blowing up a balloon to illustrate how God's breath shaped Jesus to be one with him. It concludes that through the blood of Jesus and the breath of God, people can be upheld in God's kingdom.
I Will Restore Dream of the Canker Worm Joel 2Sister Lara
The document discusses a dream about a cankerworm walking down a street and attaching itself to door posts of houses. In the dream, the narrator is taken to a storehouse filled with treasures like a grocery store that was given to them. Angels were present when a lottery drawer opened to the narrator, and they won the lottery. The document connects this dream to a prophecy in Joel about God repaying years lost to locust plagues with abundance. It suggests a new season of restoration is coming from the cankerworm dream as God's promises are claimed.
