Ricky Smith challenges participants to submit graphs of Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) metrics for equipment over time. Participants who receive the most comments on their submitted MTBF graph by December 31st will win either two free seats to GPAllied public workshops in 2012 or hosting a three day workshop taught by Ricky Smith at their site with only expenses covered. The goal is to share MTBF data anonymously and make reliability measurement a learning experience for all.

I want others to see your MTBF so here is the challenge.
‐ Send me an MTBF Graph of a specific line, type of equipment, etc over a period of time
‐ I will post your metric so no one knows who you are.
‐ The person who receives the most comments between now and 31 December will win
one or the other (your choice)
‐ 2 free seats to any of GPAllied's Public Workshops (2012) or I will come to your site to
teach a 3 days workshop (we agree upon) You pay my expenses only.
This is the most basic metric for measuring reliability of your assets. If you have questions
