It is my privilegeto write this letter of recommendation for MaryEllen Ellis.
MaryEllen reported directly to me duringher internship atTCC Software Solutions (TCC). MaryEllen joined the
Human Resources team at TCC as a parttime Intern/HR Assistantin October 2014 and was actively employed in
good standingat the time of my departure in June 2015.
Duringher time with TCC, MaryEllen was a valued contributor on several HR projects including:
 Company-wide job description reviewand revision which defined roles and responsibilities for each
position and established clear career paths for each role,
 Compensation review and the development of standardized pay grades across theorganization,and
 Implementation and administration of new HRIS system which resulted in the automation of several
paper-based HR processes includingonboardingand recruiting.
Duringher participation on these projects,MaryEllen worked with employees across departments and atall levels
of the organization includingthetop-level executives.
In addition to assistingon these special projects,MaryEllen provided front lineHR supportfor and assistanceto
the employees.
MaryEllen requires very littleinstruction to complete tasks effectively. I always had complete confidence that if I
asked MaryEllen to work on something, itwould get done on time and that itwould be correct. She is very detail-
oriented, thorough, and her work product was always exceptional.
I was very impressed with MaryEllen’s ability to quickly learn and apply HRconcepts and best practices. She is a
quick study through standard training methods as well as on the job experience. She is not afraid to jump in and
try new things on her own, but has a keen awareness of when itis prudent to stop and ask for assistance.
What stands out to me the most about MaryEllen arethe attributes that she possesses thatsimply cannotbe
taught. She is honest, trustworthy, ethical,hard-working,positive,and thoughtful. In my over 17 years of
experience, I have had the pleasureof workingwith several individualswho have left a lastingimpression on me.
For those qualities mentioned above and so many more, MaryEllen is one of those individuals.
