A senior physician at a hospital has tested positive for Ebola after an unofficial trip to West Africa. Upon her return, she hid in an under construction section of the facility and was secretly treated by a nurse. Both the physician and nurse have been quarantined after testing positive. The hospital has activated containment and control measures, quarantining all patients and staff. They are collating contact data and have requested assistance from local and international medical experts to control this renewed Ebola case.

NOTIFICATION OF EBOLA CASE
It is with saddened heart that we announce that a senior physician of this hospital
has tested positive for Ebola. Upon her return from an unofficial trip to a West
African country – a journey we embarked upon without permission – the medical
doctor hid herself in a section of our facility which is under construction, and was
secretly treated by one of our staff nurses. Both staff have been confirmed Ebola
positive and have been placed in quarantine.
We have no further case on our hand but we have immediately activated Ebola
containment and control measures. All our patients and other staff have been
quarantined and data about those they have had contacts with are being collated
for immediate action.
We have called for the best medical intervention possible locally and
internationally and believe fervently that this renewed case of Ebola will be
controlled in no distant time.
We urge the Council to provide us with necessary assistance as we ride this storm.
