7. Critical Infrastructure
OB wastewater collection and treatment system serves the heavily populated downtown and commercial areas
Three primary wastewater pump stations serve 90% of the wastewater system, and are located within newly mapped FEMA 100 yr flood plain
Stations have already had flood impacts

11. The Project
Design and construct modifications to these pump stations to ensure safe operation during a 100 year flood event
Elevate all electrical service and control panels above flood elevations
Construct elevated platforms for emergency generators
Install protective flood panels around pump stations

12. Sea Level Rise & Project Design
Design will be based upon a SLR projection of 3.9 feet by Year 2100 (“intermediate-high” scenario)
Pump Station infrastructure has a design life of 40 years
40 year SLR projection = 1.5 feet

Total project cost: $250,000
Match amount: $62,500
Grant award: $187,500
