This document summarizes an upcoming event celebrating Indigenous culture and languages while also fundraising for community programs. It thanks over 15 sponsors and contributors for their support. The event will include a $2 barbecue fundraiser on May 25th at Maskwacis Cultural College from 11:30am to 1:30pm, featuring family science activities from Let's Talk Science. Local libraries and community groups are encouraged to exhibit and provide activities to promote literacy and services. Volunteers are also needed for various roles.

Participate as an exhibitor for the
Information and Library Services Showcase
· Only $5 for a table
· Do science activities with children, youth and families
· Host a Summer Reading program
· Show brochures of your services, annual reports,
project reports, outreach and strategic plans. We will
use these to educate people about the range of
services and plans by public libraries
· Bring promotional handouts
· Do giveaways and contests
· Do registration for email newsletters
· Organize simple make and take activities
· Offer Free books to give away
· Do puppet shows
· Read books with FNs
· Bring your bookmobile
· Buy hotdogs and support the fundraising $2 BBQ
· Artists are welcome to demonstrate skills
· Borrow Library in a Box
· Come and showcase your bead work
