2012-2013 FOL Annual Gift
Study Room Redesign
For its 2012-2013 annual gift, the FOL Board
chose to redesign the quiet study rooms.
Located on the EKS Library’s first floor, the
study rooms received a fresh coat of relaxing
yellow paint. In each study room there are
photographs highlighting the Library’s
resources and rich history.
The rooms are a great escape for students
needing a quiet place to study and work on
assignments. Be sure to come by and see the
transformation for yourself!
Dear Friends of the Library,
I am so excited to serve as the Chair of the
2013-2014 Friends of the Library (FOL)
Board. Our Board has a great group of
volunteers who are actively working to
prepare several great programs showcasing
our love of literature and community.
Through our efforts, we have been able to
benefit the students of Wingate by making
improvements to the Ethel K. Smith Library’s atmosphere
with comfortable seating and more study space. We would like to
continue making improvements, so I do hope you will consider
supporting the Friends of the Library through program attendance or
monetary contributions.
I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
Sincerely,
Nina Meadows
