A 6-step program is proposed to extract text from an image in MATLAB: 1) Read and display the input image, 2) Convert the color image to grayscale, 3) Convert to a binary image, 4) Remove objects with fewer than 30 pixels, 5) Plot bounding boxes on the binary image, 6) Extract objects from the binary image to recognize the text.

Theory:
Step 1 : The first step is to read the input image and display the input image,you will get the result as
below
Step 2 : The second step is to convert the colour(RGB) image to a Gray scale

Step 4: The fourth step is to removed all the object fewer than 30 pixels
Step 5: The fifth step is to plot bounding box of the Binary image
Step 6: The sixth step is to Object extraction of the Binary image
