Take              as one whole. If        is ¼ of one

whole, how many quarters are needed to form one whole?




Q2) What is 1 ÷ ¼ ?
Take               as one whole. If        is ½ of one

whole, how many halves are needed to make one quarter of

one whole?




Q3) What is ¼ ÷ ½ ?
ANSWERS
Mathematically,
½ ÷ ½ =1




So, one ½ is needed to make half of one whole.




Answer for Question 1
Mathematically,
1÷¼=4




So, 4 ¼ are needed to make one whole.




Answer for Question 2
Mathematically,
¼÷½=½




So, ½ of ½ of a whole (¼) is needed to make one quarter of

a whole.
