The document outlines a four lesson plan for teaching students about units of length measurement. The lessons include introducing length units like meters and centimeters, practicing measuring jumps and distances, swimming lengths of a pool in meters, and throwing balls to measure distance. Students will be evaluated on their ability to use meters to measure, knowledge of different length units, completing measurement exercises, and working in groups. The lessons aim to teach length measurement through interactive physical activities and competitions like an Olympics event.
The PPT is designed for the Math teacher to teach about the unit system and length as an Individual parameter for standard 3rd to 10th.
First, inspire the curiosity of students by showing images instead of directly introducing the topic.
To make the live presentation better ask various questions to students like
-Where else you see the application of measurements?
-How and who invented it?
-Which unit we use for a particular purpose and where?
and more.
This ppt includes,
Learn unit conversion easily with a smart trick.
Understand the SI unit and Imperial unit system.
The value of each unit as well with practice sum.
Mainly focus on the length and its unit.

He/She know how to work in groups
He/She know how to use the different tools for
measuring
5. 1º lesson
• We will introduce students in the units of
measurement
• We will learn the different measure of length
• We will do exercises about how to pass from
kilometer to meter and finally in the other
way
6. 2º lesson
• We will learn how to use the meter and how to
measure.
• Today we will start the Olympics length with sports
exercises in groups
• Today we will practice with jumps.
• The pupils have to measure their jumps
7. 3º lesson
• Swimming-pool day!
• The swimming-pool has 50 meters, and each
group have to swim whatever the teacher said
• They have to pass from meter to other
measure.
8. 4º lesson
• We will practice with a ball
• The pupils have to throw the ball and then we
will measure the distance
• They have to use the meter to measure and
they will try to do the distance that the
teacher said.
9. Final Task
• We will deliver: Gold medal and silver medal
• The student who has achieved the best
distance in jumps or throwing the ball they
will research a medal.
10. Evaluation
• He/She know how to use the meter
• He/She know the different measure of length
• He/She know how to do the different
exercises about measure of length
• He/She know work in groups
