- of the oppressed so long he has not taken revenge;
- of the pilgrim till he returns home after the Hajj;
- of the warrior fighting in Jihād till it is concluded;
- of the sick patient till his recovery; and
- of a Muslim for a fellow Muslim in his absence."

Alhamdu lillahil ladhi ahyaana ba'da ma
amaatana wa ilaihin nushur
 
Praise is to Allah Who bring us life

Calamity
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un
We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return
The Prophet (pbuh) said,

keeps it in his memory, even if it happened a long
time ago, saying each time it is remembered, 'We
belong to Allah and to Him do we return,' Allah, who
is Blessed and Exalted will give a fresh reward each
time it is said, equivalent to the reward when it
happened."

Fearing a People
  Allahumma inna naj'aluka fee nuhoorihim wa
na'udhu bika min shuroorihim
Oh Allah, we ask you to restrain them by their necks
and we seek refuge in you from their evil

Allahumma Anta adudi, wa Anta naseeri, bika
ajoolu, wa bika asoolu, wa bika oqaatilu
Oh Allah, You are my strength and You are my victory.

Hazrat Aishah, ra, said: "O Messenger of Allah!  On this

Translated
O Allah !
We seek Your help and seek Your forgiveness
and we believe in You and rely on You and we praise You with
all goodness and we are thankful to You and not ungrateful to
You and we separate from and forsakewhoever offends You
O Allah !
You alone we worship and for You only we offer the Prayer and
the prostration. And towards You only do we rush, and present
ourselves for service. And we hope for Your mercy and fear
Your punishment. Indeed Your punishment will grasp the
disbelievers

‘allahumma rahmataka arju falaa takilni ilaa
nafsi tarfata ‘ayniw wa aslih li sha’ni
kullahu laa ilaaha illaa anta’

For sins of the tongue
Expiation of sins of the tongue:
Subhanal lahe wa be hamdehi subhana kalla
humma wa be hamdika ash hadu anal ilaha
illa anta astagfiruka wa atoobu ilaika
Glory be to Allah and praise unto Him. Thy Glory I
extol, O Allah! And Thy praise I hymn. I testify that
there is no god save Thee. I seek Thy forgiveness
and unto Thee do I turn penitent
When evil thoughts come to mind
Aoozubillahe minash shaitane
amantu billahi wa Rasoolehi
I take refuge with Allah from the Satan.
I repose my faith in Allah and His Apostles
 
Simple daily dua
 
Subhan Allahi wa bi Hamdihi
Glory be to Allah and I Praise Him
 
Whoever says (the above) at morning and evening
time, one hundred times, none shall come on the Day
of Resurrection with anything better except someone
who has said the same or more

Narrated Hazrat Jābir bin 'Abdullāh (ra):
Allāh's Messenger (pbuh) said:
"Whoever, after listening to the Adhān says, O Allāh,
Lord of this complete call and of this prayer, which is
going to be established! Give Prophet Muhammad
the Intercession and the Pre-Eminence and raise him
to the Station of Praise and Glory which You have
promised him,' will be granted my intercession on the
Day of Resurrection."
The duā is:
Allāhumma Rabba hādhihi da'watittāmmah
Post Azaan Supplication
Alla humma rabba hazihid dawatit taammati was salatil
qa-imate ati muhammada nil wasilata wal fadheelata
wad darajatar rafiata wab as-ho maqamam
mahmooda nil lazi wa attahu war zuqna shafaatahu
yaumal qiyamati innaka la tukhliful meeyad
O' Allah! Lord of this perfect call and of the salat to be offered
presently, vouchsafe Muhammad's way of approach unto Thee,
and also eminence, and elevate him to the glorious position
which Thou hast promised him, and afford us his intercession
on the Day of Judgement and Thou goest not back on Thy
promise.
Dua at dispersal of gathering
Hadrat Abū Barzah (ra) relates that towards the closing days of
his life, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) when he was about
to leave a gathering, used to supplicate as follows:
SubhānakAllāhumma wa bi Hamdika
Ash-hadu an lā llāha illā Anta
Astaghfiruka wa atūbu Ilayka"
(O Allāh! You are the Most Holy and all Praise is for You.
I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except You.
I ask for Your forgiveness and turn in repentance to You.)
A Companion asked him, 'O Messenger of Allāh, you are now
saying such words which you did not say before.'
He said “These words are an expiation of that which goes on in
a gathering.?

Seeking Refuge in Allah
Narrated Hadrat Abu Hurayra (ra): Allah's Messenger
(pbuh) used to invoke Allah as follows:
"Allahumma inni aoozo bika min 'adhabil Qabr, wa min
'adhabin-nar, wa min fitnatil mahya wal mamat, wa
min fitnatil masih id-dajjal
(O Allāh ! I seek refuge with You from the punishment in the
grave and from the punishment in the Hell-fire and from the
afflictions of life and death, and from the afflictions of the anti-
Christ)."
