                                        While You Were Out

      Interior Design                 Well, it has been over a quarter of a century now and after some very serious thought I
                                      felt it was time to put my stories down on paper. Some people might call this sharing, I

                                      slab of concrete and imagine the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms and
                                      bathrooms. I could see all the furniture, so clearly, then I would go home and wait for
                                      the perfect moment when my parents would leave the house. Voila! When they would
                                      return home, just like an episode of, “While You Were Out,” I, with all the strength of a

                                      12 year old, had rearranged the entire Living Room. I can still see the look on my

                                      parents’ faces today, and can’t help but to smile.

 love, warmth and romance.
 When selected appropriately
 for an accent it will create
 drama, defining the space            ECO-FRIENDLY THOUGHT:

                                      Flooring can be one of the most expensive investments you can make in your home.
                                      Today, we need to make sure that we take into consideration the beautiful
                                      environmentally friendly alternatives which include bamboo, reclaimed or sustainable
                                      harvested wood, cork and natural linoleum. Always try to use a non-toxic installation.
                                      You can either nail down the bamboo and wood or float the floor above a sub-floor to
                                      allow for climate changes. Should you elect to glue flooring down, please try to use
                                      non-toxic products and read the directions very carefully to make sure the adhesive
                                      works with the product you have chosen. This will prevent buckling.
