Amul is an Indian dairy cooperative with over 16 million milk producers. Its vision is to provide satisfaction to farmers, employees, and distributors by giving remunerative returns to farmers and serving consumers with good quality, affordable products. Amul follows a cooperative model where milk is collected from farmers by village dairy cooperatives, supplied to district milk unions, processed at state milk plants, and then distributed to consumers through wholesalers and retailers.
