This document analyzes the impact on taxpayers in Marion County, Indiana if the County Option Income Tax (COIT) homestead credit is removed. It provides maps showing estimated tax liability increases for homeowners in each township, ranging from $0 to over $70. The greatest impacts are predicted for homeowners in Center Township, Decatur Township, and Franklin Township. Removing the homestead credit would increase taxes for many homeowners throughout the county.
