The Manitowoc Company held a press briefing on April 11, 2016 to introduce several new cranes and crane models. The briefing highlighted new mobile cranes including the Grove GMK5150L/5150, GMK4100L-1, and GMK5250L. New rough-terrain cranes, the Grove GRT8100 and GRT880, were also introduced. For tower cranes, the briefing featured the new Potain self-erecting HUP 32-27 crane family and updates to the MDT and City crane lines, including the MDT389 and MDT219.
