mammals.
• Marsupials are special types of mammals that carry their young in a
pouch.
• A few mammals lay eggs, they are called monotremes.

• Sweating
• Wallowing-Mud can keep an animal cool the same way that sweat
and bird poop can.
• Panting-expel their hot breath as fast as they can and inhale the
cooler air
• Estivation- is when an animal becomes dormant for an extended
period of time in an effort to survive hot or dry conditions
