6.45am: Meet at RVHS (Brook Road) in full RVHS PE kit
When you arrive at school, you need to find your team manager and be
registered.
You need to give them your passport and EHIC card
You will then need to load your luggage onto the coach when your manager
has told you to do so.
7.15am: Depart RVHS for Heathrow
8.15-8.45am (approx.): Arrive Heathrow airport
13. Thursday 24th October
10.50am: Flight KM101 (AirMalta) to Valletta
3.00pm: Land in Malta
4.00pm: Transfer to Sunflower Hotel by coach
Evening: Team Building activities on the beach with your team
and manager
14. Friday 25th October
Morning: Make our way to training facilities for our first
training session of the tour.
Afternoon: Transfer to our first set of fixtures of the tour

16. Sunday 27th October
Morning: Transfer to our Comino Boat Cruise, where we will
explore the crystal, clear blue waters of Malta.
Sail to the island of Comino and enjoy some leisure time
whilst enjoying a cold buffet lunch which is served aboard
the boat
Afternoon: Transfer back to hotel
Evening: At leisure
17. Monday 28th October
Morning: Head into Valletta, the capital of Malta to enjoy some
free time to take in the sights and do some souvenir shopping.
Lunch isn’t included so extra € will be needed.
Afternoon: Transfer to our third set of fixtures for the tour

18. Tuesday 29th October
Morning: Transfer to the port to take a boat ride to the beautiful
Island of Gozo. From here we will enjoy a sightseeing tour in 4
wheel drive jeeps. Traditional Maltese lunch included.
Afternoon: Transfer to final set of fixtures for the tour

19. Wednesday 30th October
Morning: At leisure
2.15pm: Transfer to Valletta airport
4.55pm: Flight KM102 (AirMalta) to London (Heathrow)
7.25pm: Land at London Heathrow
8.30pm: Transfer to RVHS
9.30-10pm: Approximate arrival at RVHS
20. Spending Money
The only time any money will be needed during the tour is:
1. Friday night Pizza night
2. Monday morning in Valletta where students will need to
purchase lunch.
All other meals are included.
Students are welcome to purchase drinks/snacks at the airport and
or any other time during the tour.
Please use this to help plan how much spending money your child
will need. We wouldn’t suggest your child bringing any more
than €120
21. Weather
Current weather in Valletta is warm, sunny and humid.
Temperatures are around 27-29 degrees.
Forecast for when we are there is slightly cooler, but temperatures
are still expected to be around 25 degrees.
Please ensure you are prepared for this,
as we will be very active and out in the
sun for long periods of time. We need
to be sun smart, drink plenty of water
and wear our hats
22. Emergency contacts and Documents
• Students will be provided with contact number
cards of their team manager and they will keep
them on their persons at all times in case of
emergency.
• Tour Manager will have copies of all important
documentation of students (Passports and
European Health Insurance Cards) together with
their phone numbers.
23. Mobile Phones/ Tablets
• They will need to be looked after and used responsibly
by pupils so that they can be used as an educational
tool/communication device and not used to create any
social issues.
• No responsibility will be taken for any lost/damaged
phones whilst away.
• We have the option to confiscate these devices if we
deem it necessary.

•We will endeavour to provide you with a daily

twitter throughout the duration of the tour.
