 The climate is desert, steppe and savannah
    throughout the country
 The total area is 478,764
 The average temperature is 82 degrees
 Up north is the Sahara desert and south of it is
    cropland/grassland
 The annual rainfall is 43.2in
 The main language of Mali is French and there
    is 58 languages spoken
 The literacy rate is only 46%
 No one has computers
 Basketball, soccer, and traditional wrestling are
    popular sports
 In 1235 King Sundiata defeats Sumanguru
 In 1324 king Mansa Musa goes on a pilgrimage
    to Mecca
 In 1332 Mansa Musa dies
 A French colonization begins in 1800
 The French create a post at Bamako in 1883
 In 1925 Mali and Burkina Faso engage
 Mali becomes a republic independent country
in 1960 and gets over thrown in 1968
The problem that I would like to salve about
Mali is the literacy rate. The literacy rate was
only 46% as of 2012. Without a high literacy
rate, not many people can read or write. This
is bad because without those skills it is harder
to get a job. Most jobs require you to read
labels or write down things. This is a problem
in my country because there is not enough
schools/teachers.
 Build more schools
 Hire more teachers

 Build buses and make school systems

Regional countries can help by:
 Donating money

 Donating supplies

 Helping to build

 Giving away some teachers
My final solution I have chosen is to build
more schools and hire teachers for them.

Other countries can help by donating money to
help build schools and pay the teachers.
