8. History of division of authority
between Male/female.
(Gen 3:1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any
beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And
he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall
not eat of every tree of the garden?
(Gen 3:16) Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply
thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt
bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy
husband, and he shall rule over thee.
• In ‘the fall’ Eve usurped the authority of Adam (Gen
3:6) she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave
also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

9. The Trinity has an authority structure
(1Cor 11:3) But I would have you know, that the
head of every man is Christ; and the head of the
woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
(1Cor 11:8-10) For the man is not of the woman;
but the woman of the man.
(1Cor 11:9) Neither was the man created for the
woman; but the woman for the man.
(1Cor 11:10) For this cause ought the woman to
have power on her head because of the angels.

Eve was deceived; Adam abandoned the throne.

woman being deceived was in the transgression.

14. Unusual command
(Titus 2:4) That they may teach the young women to be
sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,….
Only time woman commanded to love their husband.
(Titus 2:5) To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good,
obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God
be not blasphemed.
It should be more natural for a woman to love their
husband (Gen. 3:16) only one command of this kind
given to the woman; however, it always accompanies
the commands given to a husband… love your wife.

15. THE WOMAN IN THE CHURCH:
(1Tim 2:11) Let the woman learn in silence with all
subjection.
(1Tim 2:12) But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to
usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
(1Tim 3:2) A bishop then must be blameless, the husband
of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to
hospitality, apt to teach;
(1Pet 2:25) For ye were as sheep going astray; but are
now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your
souls.

16. Silent in the leadership roll not in
extemporaneous praise, the final
authority in the church should be
male.
(1Cor 14:34) Let your women keep silence in the
churches: for it is not permitted unto them to
speak; but they are commanded to be under
obedience, as also saith the law.
(1Cor 14:35) And if they will learn any thing, let
them ask their husbands at home: for it is a
shame for women to speak in the church.

17. The Oracle of Delphi
Corinth/south west of Delphi… The Oracle of
Delphi. A woman priest (the pithia) enter the
temple of Apollo 9times a year (7days after the
new moon) and fall into a trance, speak in
tongues as ‘excathredra’ from the god Apollo
prophesying the events of the future.
Paul is exposing the heresy of Delphi by enforcing
the Truth not by studying the counterfeit.

18. • The Apostles and leaders of the Church were
all men. The replacement for Judas Acts 1 was
a choice of 2men (Justus, and Matthias).
1Cor. 14:34 …women keep silence in the
churches… as also saith the law. (first 5 books

• (Eph 5:30) For we are members of his body, of

father and mother, and shall be joined unto
