“What we appreciated most about MBM’s solution was its
immediate impact. From the very start, we were seeing the
value of the change,” said Pat Esslinger, IT director at Great
Northern Corporation. “One of the biggest challenges through
the implementation was the fact that all of our locations
operate a little differently than the others. MBM was able to
tailor their processes to meet all of the different locations’

customer, even when the transaction is over six months old,

“If we are questioned about a particular material used in the
manufacturing of our ships, it is critical for us to immediately
produce the documentation as to where that material came
from, when it was ordered, and who approved it,” explained
Jessica Rivard, Marinette Marine’s application analyst.
“With the process MBM helped us put in place, our buyers are
given more control and have more time to concentrate on the
orders that have a greater impact on the overall project,” said
Jessica. Throughout the process Marinette Marine appreci-
ated MBM’s willingness to implement their solution in a way
that met their needs, rather than following a cookie-cutter
approach. “Even though our process is fairly complicated
given the number of buyers and approvers involved, MBM
demonstrated true initiative through their flexibility in
training as well as support to our internal IT staff.”

impressed us,” said Denise Kaas, Network Administrator
