programs produces REAL results!
Through a variety of unique evidence-based programs and services, Rawhide professionals create an
individualized treatment plan for each at-risk teenage boy to maximize his stay on the ranch ... no
matter which program you choose. Our competitive rates, combined with well-rounded programs and
services, will ensure the best value for your agency and the young men you serve.
About Face Community Service Corps
120- to 180-day intensive, military-style program for court-ordered young men.
This unique program is designed to help students build character, mind, and
body while experiencing the satisfaction of giving back through regular
community service projects.
Standard Residential Care
Long-term (6+ months) residential care for adjudicated and non-adjudicated
young men, this program emphasizes family living. Students attend school at
Starr Academy, Rawhide’s on-grounds school, and participate in group, family
and individual counseling.
Transitional Group Home
Young men are taught independent living skills and provided with community-based education,
employment, social, spiritual, and recreational opportunities.
Treatment Foster Care (CATCH)
The CATCH program allows students to begin transitioning.
They live in a foster home within the community and have
the option of attending Starr Academy or a local school.
Alternative Schooling (HomePlus)
HomePlus provides area schools an educational
alternative for students struggling to make progress.
Students live at home with their families and attend
school at Starr Academy, Rawhide’s on-campus school,
where small class sizes and Individualized Education
Plans (IEPs) are designed to meet their needs.
Outpatient Counseling
Counseling is now available to youth and
families that wish to receive assistance on
an outpatient basis. Various services are
offered including individual, group, family, and equine
assisted therapy to address a variety of family
related issues.
